ANATOMICAL RAISED PLAIN CONVERTER CRANK – BLACK GEL NOSEBAND
This raised Black English leather noseband is part of our popular Gel Snaffle range. Padded with our unique gel lining, it moulds with use to your horse’s face, helping to reduce pressure on sensitive areas and maximise long-term comfort.
All of our nosebands are double-buckle designs, fastening on both sides of the crownpiece. This creates a more balanced fit while reducing the bulk of leather over the poll — minimising pressure and improving overall comfort.
This is a crank noseband, meaning the strap folds back on itself before buckling. While crank nosebands can have a reputation for being restrictive, when fitted correctly and done up loosely, they provide even, consistent pressure across the surface of the noseband — helping to eliminate pressure points rather than create them.
Anatomical Design
Cut in our anatomical shape, this noseband is widest at the bridge of the horse’s nose to disperse pressure across this sensitive area. It tapers at the sides of the face to reduce bulk behind the bit, helping to minimise interference with the cheekpiece, bit, and cheeks.
Converter Design – Clean Look, Full Flexibility
This is a true converter noseband, designed with a discreet, small integrated tab. It gives the elegant appearance of a fixed cavesson when the flash is removed — with no bulky loops or visible attachments.
The flash and tab can be completely removed when not in use, leaving a beautifully streamlined noseband. When required, the flash can be reattached quickly and securely.
